About Les Amis

Les Amis de L’Immersion is a non-profit organization composed mainly of parents of Immersion students, who provide support for the French Immersion program in Lafayette Parish. We do so mainly by raising funds, providing support to our teachers, building community awareness and by providing student enrichment opportunities.

We are the parent support organization for the French Immersion program of Louisiana's Lafayette Parish. Our French Immersion program follows the partial immersion model, where the students have an English language and reading block daily, but have all other subjects taught in French. Currently, the program includes students in grades from Pre-K through 8th grade.

We welcome participation from parents, teachers, and other interested people. Your membership helps to support the administrative costs of the organization so that the funds we raise are used to furnish resources for our children's classrooms. Please see the Forms page for a membership form.
